We consider ourselves "dessert desert people." As in, we love the wild Wild West and we take our snacks seriously. We think this gooey maple cake recipe will turn even those "maple critics" into enthusiasts...and you ONLY NEED 6 INGREDIENTS (we included pictures for fun in case you don't know what eggs look like ;) ). We hope you dig it as much as we do... and it sure does pair nicely with our freshly roasted beans.
Maple Gooey Cake Recipe
The 6 ingredients you will need:
- Eggs (4)
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- Butter (1/2 cup melted)
- Maple extract (two teaspoons)
-1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- Confectioners sugar (4 cups)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mix cake mix, melted butter, 1 teaspoon maple extract, and 2 eggs with a spoon. Pat into a 9 X 13 inch pan.
3. Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon maple extract with an electric mixer. Slowly beat in confectioner's sugar. Pour over cake layer.
4.Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool and ENJOY.
